About us
Jiayin (JC) graduated from the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts and was an independent artist before moving to the United States. After relocating, she became an art teacher. Over the past 10 years of teaching art, children's boundless imagination and creativity have always inspired her, making children's art education another passion of hers in the field of art.
Rain graduated from the California State University San Jose with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Over the past 6 years, she has devoted all her passion to the field of early childhood education. She firmly believes that being a teacher to children is not just about teaching classes but about inspiring, guiding, and cultivating learning abilities. The process of art lies in thoughtful consideration, focused creation, and orderly expression. Each step in this process accumulates learning abilities.
So, JC representing art and Rain representing education, have come together. We aim to bring our philosophy of art education to every vibrant life.
Kiwi Art studio focuses on art education for children aged 3-11. In our handicrafts, drawing and painting classes, we emphasize the ideas, creativity, and inspiration behind each work. We focus more on the process of artistic creation rather than the outcome.
Through interesting themes and diverse approaches, we aim to cultivate children's creativity and expressive abilities. We hope that children can freely unleash their creativity and establish their unique artistic taste in the process of absorbing knowledge, expressing ideas, and creating the art works.
Kiwi is also a local community of art enthusiasts. We will have workshops from time to time. On a non-profit basis, we hope to gather local friends who love art here, be a teacher or be a students.
